Singapore, My Home
"From Amaravati's ancient banks to Singapore's gleaming skyline — two worlds that shaped one journey."
I was born and raised in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh — a town steeped in thousands of years of history, sitting along the sacred banks of the Krishna River. Amaravati is home to one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, a reminder that great ideas, once seeded, travel far. My early years studying computers and mathematics at Nagarjuna University, just kilometres from home, laid the foundation for two decades of enterprise architecture.
Singapore has been home for over two decades — and what a home it is. This extraordinary city-state sits at the crossroads of East and West, tradition and innovation. It's where I've built my career, raised my family, and found a community that mirrors my own values: rigour, openness, and a relentless orientation toward the future.
The connection between these two worlds feels deeply personal. As Singapore and India deepen their ties in technology, finance, and AI governance, I find myself working at exactly that intersection — a privilege I don't take lightly.
I'm Sankar — a Cloud & AI leader trusted by executive teams to turn complex technology decisions into clear, governed, and commercially meaningful transformation.
Across 20+ years in enterprise technology, I have worked at the intersection of architecture, business strategy, and operating performance. My work spans regulated financial services, global logistics, digital enterprise architecture, and APJ partner ecosystems — always with a focus on outcomes leaders can measure and teams can sustain.
I have doubled consulting practices to 100+ people, built revenue run rates exceeding $20M, led AI and cloud engineering teams through multiple years of above-plan growth, and helped enterprises modernise platforms while improving cost, resilience, and governance.
Today, my personal brand is simple: boardroom clarity, responsible AI, and trusted execution. I bring AI governance and technology-risk perspective to executive conversations while staying close enough to the architecture to know what will actually work.
I help CXOs, boards, and senior technology leaders frame AI strategy, platform modernisation, partner execution, and governance choices in language that connects innovation with risk, cost, trust, and business value.
I am personally interested in entrepreneurship, mentorship, and helping communities build practical digital and AI skills. My goal is to enable more people to access job opportunities through hands-on training that builds real confidence. Contact me if you need support for community enablement, mentoring, or practical AI skills programmes.
